love the inserts but hate the nappies.
They are at the very bottom of my stash and I am really annoyed that so many places sell them cause they seem to put a heap of people off cloth nappies cause they leak and don't fit proper etc. Plus they used to only come with the hemp insert which of course doesn't work so wonderful for a start if you have no idea that you need to use mircofibre insert with it.
Anyhow, here's why I don't like them. Firstly the elastics go so fast it's unbelievable. Secondly the fit is really bad especially in the larger sizes. By the time the kids are in large the wing drop was so bad that I had to add extra snaps as otherwise it wouldn't contain anything.
And then they are chinese made which I don't really appreciate either.
So there you go, there are so much better nappies out there for not much more, don't buy these ones!!!! ( in my opinion) you are just wasting your money even if they seem cheap at the time.

I had that colour for David :D . After a few good and not so good goes at Peapods with Joshie, I have to say David's Peapod was very successful. And the bamboo inserts are my absolute favourites.

i have heard a lot of people say good things about the inserts, but as i bought the nappies 2nd hand i have never tried the inserts. i have only ever used prefolds and MF/hemp/bamboo combos :) but mainly prefoilds :D

I REALLY dont like peaPods, But my friend uses them and thinks they are great. But her daughter is heaps chunkier than my dd, so that might be why- I could never get a good fit on my DD and had leaks and a whole change of clothes with every nappy change

I found the red ones the worst too :D

The only colour I could get to work was the sage green :D

i sold a few of my small peapods off on tm as found they didnt work, but kept 5 of them which did :D one red (which was in really good cond, think ditto gave it to me:)) two sage and two light brown.

i use them last in my pile but they are becoming more reliable as dd keeps chunking up. when she was very tiny i use d them as covers wiht prefolds snappied underneight and they were great for that :)
