Ecobots cover review?

Post by happymum » Mon Aug 21, 2006 12:13 pm

Just wondering if anyone has used the ecobots cover from: http://www.econappies.co.nz/products.php

They seem very economical at $16.50...has anyone tried them out?

Hi there, check out this thread - http://www.thenappynetwork.org.nz/phpBB ... .php?t=122

The covers ecobots sell are called proraps. They are a great cover for over pad-folded prefolds.

There is a pack on TM selling for REALLY cheap at the moment - great bargain for someone!!! They are size large.

I have found them good. I have a medium for my daughter (nearly 8kg) and found it to be quite generous in sizing and as a result it can hold quite a bit of padding. Its a bit gapy round the leg gussets - even with her lovely thighs - but still contains her blow outs well.

i have got a hire kit from abbe at the moment and this is my fave cover so far.

poppy has skinny legs and i find that with the gussets its one of the only covers that fits really well. also a great price - i will be buying some....

only thing is that it needs velcro on one of the arms so that you can cross it over and also fold back laundry tabs would be good

I really like the Prorap - Dd's thighs are quite chubby and I find they fit well round the waist and thighs.
I agree - laundry tabs would be good though!

I am using the premmie size with my daughter (2.5 kilos at the moment). They are doing the job really well so far, and have survived a couple of poo tests without leaks. The gussets are quite cunningly designed. Fold back laundry tabs would be good, but I'm just handwashing them at the moment so I guess it doesn't really matter too much. Very price competitive.

Proraps :D . Loved them on my boy when he was little - very reliable and hard wearing. The leg gussets are great for skinny legs and BF poos.
Back for another round with baby #3
