Size - Please ensure your avatars are under 200px x 100px and 24kb (right click on it and go to 'properties').
Flashing animated stuff - To be no bigger than usual "avatar" size. Please be respectful that many of our members are still on dial up and these images take an eternity to load for them.
Appropriate - This is a family show. Humour should be at the very most PG, if in doubt please ask or don't post it. Crude/sexual avatars are absolutely inappropriate.
Safety - Avatars are also seen in public areas, so folks need to be aware that if they use their photo or photos of their kids, then they will be publicly viewable. No naked kids. Bathtime/changing/potty/breastfeeding photos need to be carefully considered.
Signatures -
Size - Maximum of 12kb per image and no bigger than 400px wide x 150px high
Tickers - maximum of 3 if using the smaller size, 1 if larger size.

Any avatars or signatures not within the guidelines may be removed by the moderators without warning. Judgement about what is appropriate or not is at the sole discretion of the moderators (common sense will prevail).
