Starting a hire kit??

Post by TanzChicky » Wed Apr 22, 2009 3:30 pm

I was talking to my sisters MW earlier and she was saying that alot of her clients have been talking about the possiblity of using cloth nappies.
I was wondering if I wanted to go about setting up a hire kit, how would I go about it?
Do I need to be a "business" or can I do it from home??
My scary stats as at 24/05/2012
Bust - 40inches
waist - 36inches
thigh - 25.5inches
weight... 69kgs

I think there's a lot of people here doing it from home. I'm not doing nappy kits but I do have my own business and it started with the need to fill a niche. If there's nothing in your area, or it's only really limited I'd say go for it.

Others will have more info though.

most hire kits are by mummies at home. I dont think they make much form it so its more a 'for the love of it'. You need to make sure you have the time to do strip washes between hires and any chasing up needed with nappies/payments etc

pretty sure you would find there was no profit in it - but lots of satisfaction in encouraging people to use cloth!! I have a contract if you want to see a copy.
