Splash About - Happy Nappy

Post by bellasmum » Thu Jun 22, 2006 12:54 pm

The Splash About Happy nappy from Nappy Days is fabulous!!

Bella is 13mths old and about 12-13kgs and the large fits her perfectly with room to grow.

We have the fish print with red bands, it's so cute, and we like the way the pattern is the right way up for Bella to look at it - small issue I know, but we thought that was cool.

I love the fabric, (its a neoprene - like wetsuits), it doesn't seem to hold a heap of water in it when she is in the pool. A couple of others we have tried seem to fill up at the back.

It is very Daddy friendly, and DH likes the fact that her can dress her while she stands up, whereas with her last nappy he had to lie a very wriggly toddler on a bench and try and get the velcro right, whilst being inadvertently kicked in the nose. DH reckons this is much more dignified - for him and Bella.

It was very easy to clean, just a rinse in cold water, and it dries quickly.

Anyway to summerise, what a cool nappy - we love it.

We were lucky to get one of these excellent swimmers.

Lucy is between sizes (medium and large), so I thought that probably our problem could be fitting but we had no problem at all!!

It has a nice fit, really easy to put on and take off, we had so mucho problem with the nasty sposies swimmers before because they would get stuck on her legs and rub against her skin, when this nappy comes right off but it looks very firm when she is wearing which is great for poo situations.

We love it, is funky but still classy, goes with whatever top she is wearing and is so easy to wash and dry ! we could use it everyday and have no problem.

5 stars to Happy Nappy swim nappies !!

I've just got a question with sizing: my wee one was 6kg at her 3 month weigh-in (she's 4 months now) which suggests she should be in a large, but her age suggests she should be in a medium. she has chubby little legs and is quite long. so, i guess my question is: what size did you buy and how big was your baby when you had them fitting it?

Hi Alica,

I would start with a medium and go from there. If it is too small we will swap it for a large for you.

Cheers
