Post by daydream97 » Thu Jul 18, 2013 5:45 pm

im making nb fitteds using shars pattern. need to make covers to go over top --- do I use the same pattern and enlarge slightly?

fitteds will be serged edged with Velcro and covers Velcro/snaps edged with foe :)

I just used some wrap covers that I got second hand (perhaps even from here, can't remember now as it was 5+ years ago). The ones with frogs on them. I didn't have serged edge ones though. I couldn't be bothered making covers that small for such a short period of time. I think a paid something like $4 each at the time.
You could also use pockets, next side up but might not want the extra bulk of the fleece layer.

I used a small (next size up) pattern for the covers :D

Ditto on using small pockets for the covers.
