Gloves of Hope KAL - winners chosen & update

Post by nickers » Thu Apr 21, 2011 7:48 am

As we are 2/3 of the way through the month I thought it was time to start posting completed pics. I'm not entering, but have whipped up a pair to start this topic off with, knitted with white yarn and gradient dyed the finished item. Unfortunately my camera doesnt capture red very well so the pic doesnt really do them justice.

How is everone else getting on?
To enter please post your finished pics here, but please also create a project on Ravelry if you have an account.
Thanks. :D

Mine are done and gifted to my sister - she loves them. I will try and get some pics up today or tomorrow.

Looks good with the gradient dye.

Please! I have two gloves without thumbs left too, except one the cable isn't positioned right, so I have to redo it, plus I was hoping to get another pair or two done.

Agh, missed this thread and didn't realize it was extended, will have to try to actually make a decision of what yarn to use. :drama:

Oh yay, thanks for supporting this :vibes:
I'm really loving seeing the finished items, and how each one is different in some little way :D
I am going to extend this till the 31st of May and it seems by the latest FB update that Hope is doing well so hopefully she will be up to choosing her favourite at the end of the month (I've not asked Bex yet but I'm sure she wont mind :D )
So the winner will be chosen from pics on this topic, but if the projects could also be loaded into Rav for those that have accounts that would be great as it gives the pattern more exposure over there.
:thx:
