I have knitted Gala, but I have a bit of a backlog of projects to be photographed so it hasn't made it to Ravelry yet.

What beautiful knitting on this thread!!
What is an easy thing to make for a new baby girl (niece, that is) - I haven't knit in ages and just do basic stuff really (in the round is ok too). Something without sleeves (too lazy for that!!) Any suggestions?? :D

Hi Lesley, you could buy the milo pattern it's in the round, no joins.

yes, it's very easy. I found the first time I followed the pattern exactly as it said and didn't doubt it (IYKWIM) It's quite clever! then when you have that bit over, you can just do the mindless stuff - you don't even need cables, if you don't like them (although they are easy too, you just need to stay awake!) The pattern is well explained.
