Where can I buy spiral steel bonning?

im going to make gerties bombshell dress & need some spiral steel bonning anyone know where I can get it?

I think Spotlight has the not-so-good plastic version. Spiral steel doesn't give much support which is probably why it's in Gertie's pattern, I'll have to take a look at mine later, pretty sure I bought that class. I got my German plastic boning from http://farthingalescorsetmakingsupplies.com/index.html they're based in Canada but they're quick. Shipping is a killer unfortunately from all of them, but they were recommended by The Dreamstress who sews a lot of corsets etc (she's in Wellington).

Thanks, i'll have a wee look, I guess it must be pretty good if its used in corsets.

There is usually someone selling it on trademe and the endcaps to go with it. You need a good quality pair of tinsnips or other heavy tools to cut the jolly stuff too. I've always wussed out.....
