Yes, maybe, if using print PUL. This pattern was designed when print PUL hadn't made it's way to NZ  It was Rodent who tested it as a cover.

Sorry, might not be posting in the right thread. Am wanting to know what size babies fit the size SM button boo?
Also do you think they are better suited to chunky thigh bubbas? My babies have not been very big and don't get the lovely rolly thighs!
So not sure if this would be suitable, but I love the look of these nappies made up. Can anyone give feedback?

I've found it to be an excellent pattern for both my boys, who have been quite different body shapes. Joel started out pretty huge but thinned down very quickly (with thin thighs) and was in mediums till toilet training.
Adam has more meat on his thighs and has been in smalls and moved into Joels mediums. I also loved the hips snap for Joel who had a small waist and bony hips - so the snaps didn't dig in. As a reference point, Adam started at 9lb 6 oz and was wearing the smalls from very early on. He can still fit them now @ 16 weeks, but only just.

My DD has fitted the small button boo since birth, she was 3.4kg, she is just managing to still fit it now at 12 weeks. So for us it's smaller than other smalls we have in that it fitted sooner, but also will grow out of it faster. I don't know how much she weighs now but her thighs are fairly well covered!

Charlotte is nearly 10months old (and approx 8.5kgs) and still fits the small hip snaps (on the middle section of snaps). Lucas is 2.2yrs (and approx 11.5kgs) and fits the medium on the tightest snaps he is currently toilet training so they will fit him through. Love the pattern and fit :)

Holly was 2.7 kg at birth and fit smalls from about 6 weeks onwards :D she outgrew them at around 6-7mths,she does have thigh rolls tho and quite a wide tummy  fantastic pattern and Ive made it into a fitted no worries and Ive only been sewing since September last year.

Jaye is 13kg and fits the medium on the tightest snap settings.

The large is a little bit too big.
