Today's Otago Daily Times.
Article:'No time to waste in getting babies into cloth'

Opening quote
"The more bottoms in cloth, the better for everyone"

______

However I would like to state for the record:
For anyone who reads the article, please note the statement made by the reporter about Plunket is in my opinion slightly out of context. When asked by the Panel if we had sought involvement with Plunket, I made a broad statement that we are in independent group and nationally some NZ Nappy Network members had experienced difficulty with publicity through some Plunket offices.
I would like it on the record that as of today, Dunedin Nappy Network have been in contact with Dunedin Plunket. We have had a positive discussion on the phone and a meeting is set for Monday to discuss the matter of public awareness further.

Good on you - I'd love to see the article!
Definately think we should do a midwinter event.

Aimee, i'm having all the articles etc about DNN laminated and we'll put them into a clearfile for reference.

Midwinter event. It's probably got to be in the Octagon. I'll find out if the Green Party have anything planned that we can join in with.

We really need a banner, the commercial ones are expensive but surely we can make a simple one.

An easy banner would be calico or canvas in a neutral colour - cream or white, and some tallent and textile inks, dead simple to do - you could either hand paint or use stencils, and if you keep the colours simple it won't cost much - you can get Fas textile inks from most book stores/ art shops, they just need to be ironed once they are dry to set the ink.

Thanks Shar!!

Next project ladies - a banner.
I have Calico and will get some textile inks. Blue, yellow & green I think. I hope Monday is sunny (at the very least dry!) so we can do this outside.
