Just an idea.

Anyone that has a facebook page could update their status relating to the expo (when, were etc) on Saturday.

Don't stress over money :D I've asked Michelle if we could get $80 to cover advertising and she said to get the receipts to her and she will reimburse.

We can then use any money left over to help cover the cost of the DIY sessions.

I've made a sign for outside the hall.

TNN brochures are sorted.

Have some sticky labels for names.

Maybe the TNN information table could be near the refreshments. That way people can chat and eat :D + we need fewer people to man these areas.

Leanne :D finer details as I'm a bit confused. Can you list on the consolidation thread.
How many machines do we need Sun and who is bringing them?
Do you have enough samples and WIP? and who are they from?
Do you need help with drafting sign up and receipt forms for the DIY sessions + notices with contact details for people who want to sign up later?

Sure Kaz, shall answer on the other thread.

Can we decide on the commission % for the preloved table please? I know that there is no shortfall pressure now, but I think it would still be good to charge something (given that the stall holders are paying too).

Thoughts?

I just did one as I purchased a board for it. Don't know if I have time to chase around to get some more. I'll attempt to phone around to see if I can get some recycled ones.

Leanne, will get my snap press to you asap. Bring it with you on Sun.

Does anyone have a contact in RealEstate as the back of old 'for sale' signs are great, a good size and easy to write on.

Is there anything else that still needs doing?

We need someone to bring along

- coffee
-milo
- some teatowels
- jugs to make the cups of tea etc easier

Someone to make a couple of signs for nearby busy roads

Leanne it looks as though the DIY stuff for Sunday is under control. Do you need any help with anything?

Ok I've got the prizes from Leanne, and I think I have them sorted, but would like some feedback :)

I have them sorted into 9 prizes (+ 1 leftover doll nappy) as follows:
wetbag + 4 wipes x2
6 wipes x2
diy nappy kit x1
2 bibs x2
2 doll nappies x2
+ the one leftover doll nappy

Does this seem even enough? I could split into more prizes? ie packs of 4 wipes instead of 6, no wipes with the wetbag etc... and we'd have more left for next year? Or leave it how it is? We'll still have 3 prizes left over

I don't think we need to save prizes, we can just do a few extra draws.

Forgot to mention - there's a paw print on one of the stripey wipes. Weather too crappy to be bothered washing it and getting it dry in time, so feel free to keep that one aside for you (now that just stuffs up the sequence, doesn't it ;) maybe throw the dolls nappy in with it?)

I have the washing drying in front of the fire today so I'll throw in the extra wipe :)

Hi all, sorry not to keep up with the posting side of this years expo. I havent been able to help with the overall organising this year BUT will be there on the day, with my sewing machine + overlocker and lots of a variety of nappy samples. So will have Arlo along for the ride and I'm up for sewing up examples, talking to people, etc. Will bring along whatever extension cords I can and plugboard, as we don't want to get there to set up and not be able to use all the machines. So if anyone else can do the same that would be great. I did offer to help add to prizes but have got a bit :lala: with knowing exactly whats still needed.
Carla is onto making a wall hanging of touchy feely fabric samples. Is there a book made up of fabrics as well?
DIY- I will have both overlocker and sewing machine
-samples of nappy sewing and inserts as well.
-helping Carla with a sample display
Prizes- will make some breastpads to add to leannes hard work as maybe a spotprize?
Signage- I've asked around and as yet can't help here sorry
Coffee cart- the expo timing wasn't suitable for C4 but we're sorted with doing this ourselves.
