When is it? I could probably help out at something at a weekend. Weekdays are more or less out because I'm either working or would have to bring DS.

I could possibly help :D but I don't want to overcommit myself as I am very aware that we have 2 birthdays during the next week (Josiah turns 4 on the 4th, and Jackson will be 1 on the 8th)

My thoughts....if there is not a lot of other interest I am thinking of running an 'open morning' at my home.

I would advertise in the local paper etc and have information/products out for people to look at/take away - just a casual thing.

If other businesses wanted to showcase products etc perhaps we could do a more public place.

Any other ideas would be good too.......

I'm not so keen on organising anything (have far too much on for the next few months as it is) but will def come to a RNW nappicino/expo thing.

the one we had a couple of years ago at the Kilbirnie community centre was quite popular.

I think a public venue would attract more people than a home event. Its easier to 'pop by' and have a look at a public venue I think.

Nikki how much was it to book the Kilbirnie one? Was there one in the Hutt the year before? How much was that one?

It was great as we had the local demo kit out for people to look at and lots of TNNers around to answer questions.
The stall we had at the fair was quite exhausting as there were only a few of us and we were bombarded with questions all day!

Great idea to have some actual nappy sellers at the 'expo' too as lots of people wanted to buy from us (TNN) on the day! Does that run into any issues regarding our Not-for Profit status having sellers there?

I have not met many of you before but I would be really keen to help out with organising an event and showing my nappies there. My business is still young but I would love to join up with more businesses and really promote fabric nappies in general. Last year I had lots of people asking if there was anything on in Wellington and there wasn't.

Let me know when you will be meeting to plan anything.

There are a few community halls - perhaps Maungaraki? or is that not 'central' enough?

I would be interested in prices for past events too.

The community centre in Petone was about $15 from memory. we got the room next to the kitchen on the ground floor. its a good size toon(not quite as big as Kilbirnie though). I can't really help with organising, but would come for the morning to help.
