Real Nappy Week Raffle (1 of 3)

Post by ClothConvert » Sun May 03, 2009 8:52 pm

2 of our lovely members here (kb and jubint) have kindly donated three wonderful raffle prizes for the knitting table at the Auckland Expo on Sat (2 May) - however, due to a combination of various factors, there weren't many entries at all. As the prizes are so good, the Auckland team has decided to give all forum members the opportunity to win, win, win.

Only $2 per ticket for EACH raffle, no limit to how many tickets you can purchase. Payment must be made to TNN a/c by Wednesday 6th May so should come through on the online statement by Friday 8th May.

TNN Inc
06-0596-0033873-00

Please use AK09RNW1 as reference so I know it is for this raffle prize.

************************ RAFFLE 1 *******************

Custom Longies

The winner of this prize will receive a pair of custom
Looking Glass Longies, knit by the pattern designer.
You will be given the choice of a ‘girl’, ‘boy’ or ‘gender
neutral’ yarn, and able to choose either a pair of newborn
longiesor small shortiesknit with this yarn choice. A
small embellishment will also be added to make the
longiesa truly unique MCN cover.

Yarn used is chosen for it’s function, but also for it’s softness. Indie hand-dyed yarns will be offered as yarn choice, as well as plain colours.

Winner will be contacted within one week of prize being drawn by the designer to discuss size/yarn/embellishment. Please allow up to 4weeks
for delivery of prize.

last call for interest.

So far, only two entries for this raffle - k8ylou and myself. It will look so bad if I draw my own name!

have you down, Shelley :)

Also, I forgot that Lisa had the wonderful suggestion at the end of the expo day that each volunteer for the day will have an automatic entry in each draw. So for example, Shelley, you now have three chances of winning each of the three raffles.
