yeah we went with aidan who ended up with RSV which caused him to get pneumonia because of his chronic lung disease (from being so prem) and because Im still bf Adele she had to stay and well she caught the rsv bug. and now I have too aswell as mastitis (I ended up in the ED yesterday morning) :( aidan ended up on oxygen and iv antibitoics and fluids. he is still not 100% but enough to be home. Adele is boarder line going back to hospital, she's not feeding - had only 1 feed since 10pm so when she wakes if she won't feed we will go back to the hospital

I do have one insert, but it dosn't have a stay dry layer. You could just use some itti inserts or a trifold and just lay them in if you have any?

Is the insert you sent with mine hemp ontop? If so it won't work for absorbancy (well not on my girl) as it's a slow absorber, so needs bamboo or microfibre ontop. Can't put microfibre on the skin though. Not sure about hemp?
ETA: will wash it so the hemp is broken in and then will top with a bamboo booster (I have a few double layered ones that are short)

I LOVE the fit :smt055 It's super trim and NO butt crack!!!

Some pics from me, let me know if you need different angles etc was hard to get decent ones but I can bribe her to stay still

Oh and she's only 14kgs but it fits well on the 2nd lot of snaps from the centre.

Thanks Natalie :D

The insert was my prototype, I was meaning to make another for you, but I thought I would just get it out to you. Yes the insert was topped with hemp I think, as I'm not too worried about testing absorbancy at this stage, just the fit. The actual inserts will be made from either bamboo/bamboo otr bamboo/microfibre topped with stay dry layer.

All of the rest of the inserts I will just make up a quick trifold, but with your one you can fold under either the back or the front to make more layers where absorbancy is needed most.

Ah I see (re the insert). I've put another 2 snaps on the insert which i'll attach my bamboo booster onto.

The insert fits well apart from about 3/4 the way (from the back) where it's a bit wide and sticks out of the nappy just a slight bit, only by about 1cm though. I love the idea of a long insert you can fold up rather than a trifold.
