Re: Baby singlet testers needed - 4ply
Thanks for the feedback ladies... admittedly I kind of guessed on the neckline as I haven't done one before
Thinking I might rework that section a bit (but haven't done so yet
)

but yeah might re-work it anyway

Love the colour Julie - and it does look like a great fit on your wee cutie pie!Skyflame wrote:Alright I used 65g/229m and there is plenty of stretch room for my 9kg almost 9 month old (73cm). I think I may have ended up with an extra centimetre in length due to not realising I was done in the roundBut it is a good length on his long body.

Finally got around to taking photos of DD2 with the singlet. Mum said she was also a little confused by the neckline and she has done it different to some of the others already finished. But she has left the ends out so I can unpick it and re-do if necessary.
DD is 6.5mths and weighs approx 7.4kg Back view of neckline

Re: Baby singlet testers needed - 4ply
Here we go, modelled on DS who has jsut turned 3 but fits a size 2 top with size 3 length. I've loving the extra length in this and it will fit him for ages around. It isn't gapey across the back when he has his head up normally either, although is a bit loose (but he's pretty narrow across the shoulders.

Re: Baby singlet testers needed - 4ply
Finally here is a photo of Lachlan in the singlet
And yes you are right I did the neck the same as Ali. I was also a bit confused about it, and was going to ask for a photo... but ended up guessing instead
Lachlan is 4.5months and about 6.6kg Plenty of room widthwise but unsure if it would fit lengthwise to 12months... but hard to know!

hmmmm, well mine looks different to the one I have ..... I'll get some pics but mine is longer and skinnier. Not so sure I got the neck right. Pics on the final pattern of where to sew would be awesome!
