Re: Envelope tee shirt testers - 48cm-92cm tall wanted.
I trimmed a cm off the armholes to allow for what would normally be seam allowance, so they didnt look too wide when putting binding overtop (I just used FOE). Have you put that has a note with the dress piece (you've probably already thought of that!).

Yeah had thought of including foe binding instructions (thanks for reminding me, will write it down so I don't forget again), no instructions with dress though, figure it's pretty self explanatory
Going to send you the pattern Aimee, would like you to compare against the one you made as L isn't a dress girl and it's a long time since I made a dress so not sure if I got the A line right or not. (Don't have to sew it up if you don't want to, just have a check I'm on the right track)

Yip happy to compare, yours will be much neater than mine
Honestly, I didnt measure anything, had no idea how long it would be on her, just stuck an extra bit of paper to the pattern and drew a line where I thought it looked right

See that's the sensible way to alter patterns, much less stressful

Your pattern is the same width as mine but yours is way longer - like 7cm difference from the bottom of my paper to the 80cm line on your pattern.

I did wonder, that is apparently "knee length" on the charts I'm using, but I guess it's a shade long in reality... should I shorten it or leave it for people to adjust? 7cm hem would give you plenty of growing room

Olivia's dress sits at the top of her knee, if I added 7cm to that it would be halfway down her shins
I would take a few cm's off it, then it should be closer to knee length for 'most' kiddies and if its a bit short, it still looks cool as a tunic.

hah, so I shouldn't have spent all that time last night adding the hem allowance
Might have to bite the bullet and sew one up for L, even though she won't wear it *sigh*

If you wanna flick me the dress I can sew one up in Ks size - Just dont tell DH that I am making K dresses. My mate down the road is a career who has a care child about Ks size so will gift it to her afterwards.
About to get onto a hoody for you know that all my other sewing is caught up on.

Will do,
What is your guys thoughts on pricing - at the moment the pattern has gone from a basic top, to a top with optional hood, dress, baby gown up to 72cm.... (which I had to totally redo the sleeves for to get the fold over bit)... top has short and long sleeves, and optional cuffs for long sleeves...
I'm trying to keep the price down, but feeling like if I put it all in the one pattern it makes the pants and undies seem expensive
Would you rather be able to choose - tee and dress, tee and hoodie, tee and gown, and still pay the $6 each, or put them all together and pay a wee bit more? Or have the whole lot at $6?

all together and pay more.
or offer the tee pattern for $6 and then have pattern with the tee + all the extras for something like $10 or $12.

What about having the option of all individually as tee and dress, tee and hoodie, tee and gown Or as and E-book for all of them for more. So say $6 each of $15 for the e-book pattern.
For me personally I probably wouldnt buy the pattern for all of them if it was dearer but would buy the T and hoodie on its own as that is all I am likely to use.
