Older children who wet the bed

I've been working on something new for older children, who have outgrown "nappies" but still wet the bed. So far I've tried this out on an 8 year old and a 10 year old, with quite a bit of success, both boys, and now I'm looking to try out on a few more and take it from there. So, if any of you have older children who are wetting the bed, and you'd maybe like to give it a go, then let me know. I'm a bit snowed under at the moment, so it might take me a little while to get them made and out to you, but I wanted to get the ball rolling. Let me know the age of your child, their size (for eg if they have to wear clothes that are larger or smaller than their age range) and anything else you think might be helpful.

Yes!! Xavier still has to wear a nappy to bed which is wet 6 mornings out of 7, it's awful as his little brother has not worn a nappy to bed since he turned 2! He has to wear a size 7 for length in clothes but not for waist measurement (always have to be adjustable or draw string), he has a standard size 4/5 waist.

I have a 10 yr old girl with cerebral palsy in full time nappies if it helps

I have 2 boys ages 4 and 6, if that would help. They are on the smaller side of their ages. But both wear clothing of their age. Sometimes the clothing is too big at their waist.

i am at my wits end with my 5.5 yearold atm contanst leaking pullups and wet bead EVERY.DAY.

I also have a 5 1/2 yr old in night nappies.
He is not huge, but the cloth pull ups I have for him are getting too small in the rise.

Depressingly I have TWO 7 1/2 year olds in night nappies, one has had a couple of dry nights, the other never has!

One is pretty average size the other one is very small - 3rd centile for height and weight so more a 5-6yr old size.

Gosh I would love for them to be dry at night

I have a 7 year old boy who has been very discouraged by the fact that his just turned 4yo brother has been dry a couple of times this week. He is tall but skinny so wears size 6-7 but could still fit a size 5 waist. I'm so sick of the price of commercial night pullups but he's such a heavy wetter I've struggled to find an alternative.

ETA "7" in as the number had disappeared from E's age. Looked like I had a year old night wetter

Eep all these four year olds being 'older children' for still wetting are making me feel bad lol. Mine are 8 yo & almost 6 yo, both almost every nighters.

Amber (7.5) is still in dry nights (size 4-7) and soaking every morning. I often put a cloth nappy over top of the dry night as well. She is very skinny and wears 5-6 year old undies during the day. If this is a nappy type thing she needs a high rise. The size 4-7 dry nights come to below her belly button.

I don't count four as an older child, buuuut big enough not to fit normal sized nappies.
