Couple of simple embalishments on minky items... (got to love baby girls for an excuse to embalish  )

Change mat/ play mat for Snowflake (backed with waterproof nylon and lined with 2x old flat cloth nappies), will be great for out on the grass at summer BBQs and on the ground at church so baby has a clean place to lay down, can't see it in the pic but I used a fancy stitch for the embrodiary, looks so yummy IRL

Recovered a breastfeeding pillow/ propping pillow and a plain pillow to match

I've just made fitted (pillow-slip) sheets for the hammock, and a matching (appliqued) merino swaddle wrap - this isn't true to colour for the wrap (because it's a beautiful sunny day here, which makes everything shine  )

edited to add another pic of the wrap (this shows the colour better) - modelled by a doll:

Merino swaddle wrap edged with FOE and embellished with long pile minky & polar fleece decos, love how this one has come out

2x Minky hammock blankets/quilts, the red one is backed with minky, and the lime/lavender one is backed with polarfleece, both need a good iron to flatten them out

wow those are awesome 8-)
My sister made some pj pants using fabric with bees on it. To match it, I used a white t-shirt and cross-stitched a bee and some flowers on it.

I just painted some flowers (using fingernail polish, which I had to go buy as I never use it ) on L's shoes as she wouldn't wear them due to the lack of girly prettiness :gah: hopefully they will meet her standards now

My first entry in a monthly theme...

I made these cushions totally copying one that my sister gave me for my birthday. They are made entirely from recycled (blanket outers, cushion inners) or stashed (fabric scraps, snaps, cottons, visolflex (sp) stuff. I didn't spend a cent to make these. They took a total of about 5 hours, so around an hour each all up by the time I prepared the applique, ironed, sewed the leaves on (the Amy Butler ones use lots of different coloured thread as appropriate for the leaves), and then made up the cushions. Totally love them, and the kids do too :)
