wow, all these creations look great :D

I'm knitting DS a hat (almost halfway).
I knitted DD a vest but once I finished it and tried it on her it was WAY too small :boohoo: so will become a future piece of doll's clothing. I'm going to modify the pattern a bit and knit another one that will hopefully become the right size  Will upload pictures once the items are finished. Still need to sew the buttons onto the doll's vest. At least she'll be warm

the first two pics are taken on our queensize bed. The panel cost me $4.50 on sale at spotty and my Mum gave me the microfleece I used for the back last year as she didn't want it.

Yup, which is part of the reason he loves them so much I think. Ian will be getting Snoopy pj's.

cool PJ's :D

here's a hat I knitted for DS. I want to line it with microfleece as the yarn is acrylic, but I'm not sure how to go about it. My first attempt at cutting the lining didn't go well. If anyone has any suggestions I'd be very grateful

Cool PJS - I love that style its the similar to the ones I do - did you use a pattern?

Love the hat Juju - try here for a hat pattern that may work or you may be able to adapt/enlarge it to suit.

1st link is the pdf 2nd is for the how to.

Well I have been sewing up a storn its been stuff on my to do list rather than winter or WIPs. I have been making NB and Sm nappies and wetbags, and prefolds and breastpads and things for when this bubs arrives - figured they where slightly more important at this stage than the kids PJs (that I did one pants for DD and thats it)

If it counts MIL has been knitting up some beautiful NB hats for bubs and I have cast on a singlet/Tee Vest style thing that I can tell is going to take me forever to finish (its 4ply k1 p1 rib).

Kwik Sew 3604, really good wee pattern. I'm making some for me too in the adults version as well.

Wow, well done for getting so much done already! I've got a load of merino fabric I bought last winter at great prices from Otara, intending to make some tops and pants for my granddaughter, too scared to cut into it so far!!! Do you find it ok to sew? Do you use regular poly cotton thread or would I need something special....any tips really appreciated
