What are you doing for MAY?

Post by grizle » Mon May 02, 2011 10:04 am

I'm sitting here, DS#1 has gone back school, its pouring with rain outside, and i find myself thinking "what would be fun to make today?"

So i thought i'd ask, what are you going to create during the month of May?

I've got lots of knitting to do and thinking of making DS some hoodies and merino tops. I've also got to make him some pillowcases to match his quilt and possibly even start all the previous blocks from the quilt-a-long as I've done none of them. Oh, and just remembered I need to make myself a bag and a needle case.

I'm hoping to test out Darnys sewing instructions for undies \:D/ so that will be a start . If that works out i might make a hoody if i get my pattern back that i lent to a friend . Otherwise my must do things are more in the tidy / declutter area sigh .....

I have a top to finish knitting for me, hopefully mittens for George (if he gets to 7 nights dry in a row) and some sewing as well as clearing up the sewing room.

A couple of Milo's for tikki's May Milo Knit-a-long, a couple of pairs of gloves, maybe some singlets for Nikolai. Hopefully either an Einstein with collar for Alex for his birthday in mid June, and if I get the time, a hotshot with hood & kangaroo pocket for Seb. :whip:

ETA: Oops, and a beanie test knit! Which I am about to start as soon as I finish off a swap tonight.
