rangitotogirl wrote:Pleased with my progress today. I had to put the curtains aside as I ran out of thread. I then finished a dress for Lucy that has been sitting on the to do pile for at least 6 months. Not as bad as it sounds because when I started it, it looked huge and I was wondering whether it was too bulky. Decided to wait for a few months and see how it looked when she had grown, and I'm now mostly happy with the overall look.

Also finished Selena's knitted top which only involved sewing the ends in, but that's been sitting like that for a few weeks. So both girls have gone across to the neighbours to brag about their new clothes.

While they were over there I finished skeining a massive skein of yarn that I had stopped half way through because it was such a mission and I'd run out of time. It was one I couldn't do on the wool winder and was tangled and quite tedious.

Then did a wee bit of tidying and found some more thread for my curtains, so now that can be all go again. \:D/ Very happy about that.
sounds like a GREAT DAY! :)

I'd quite like to make inroads into my Ravelry queue - but four projects down this week and the queue has grown by ten :smt005

Only one thing not finished and that's the back of my Central Park Hoodie; I have an excuse though, been busy emptying out the garage so it can be demolished. The rest is done though.

I was actually thinking about this thread the other day and thought maybe we need a "Make it May" to finish all our UFOs that are still sitting waiting.
