Ecobubs Funky Fitted Nappies

Post by gabes » Tue Nov 28, 2006 8:20 pm

I feel very lucky to have tried one of the new Ecobubs nappies - funky fitted.

Its quite a different shape from the older style fitted nappy I have from Ecobubs but I like how it is wider through the back for more coverage.
Its microfibre and hemp with a big hourglass booster (hemp/microfibre) that is topped in super soft fleece.
Easily lasted DD through the night with longies on top.
The outer is FUNKY! Bright yellow with spots. Gorgeous.
Velcro closure, fits DD (11kg) on the tighest setting so the large is quite roomy, but crossover tabs so should fit a range of sizes.

I especially like the flip over wash tabs - haven't seen any like that before and there is no way velcro will ever come in contact with bubs skin.

Love it!! Great work Becks :smt041

Yes I have just recieved 18 funky fitteds from beck of ecobubs :D

they are really plush and fit well. mine have snaps and I got a mix of 4 different corduroy colours - some with microfleece and some with hemp fleece inner lining. (those are for toilet raining so my little ecobub feels ""wet"" :D

I find they don't have too much absorbency up front. It is still a great comfy nappy. but maybe better for a girl who wees central IYKWIM

heaps of layers.. so soft and comfy. but fast drying for a fitted. mine will easily dry in a day of mild to sunny weather. :D

:D :D :D

edited to fix typos

This reveiw is so long overdue....
I was lucky enough to be sent some small ecobubs fitteds (Thanks becks :smt023 ) these ones are becks older style nappys they are an awesome fit and my favorite day nappy......... but my little monster didnt stay small for very long so I had to buy some mediums (new style and are way more absorbent) I love the crossover wings this makes them very accommodating and versatile in the way they fit, Ive had the mediums for a few months now and I loveeeeeeeeeeeee them!!
heres the verdict (1 being   to 5 being :smt041 :smt060 :smt055 :smt054 :smt049 :smt051 :cloud9:

Im very impressed with how they still look near new and they get used evey 3rd to 4th night, the sewing and construction is top quality.

Beck is on to a real winner with the design of her nappies and I have no hesitation recommending that everyone should try one :smt045 :smt045 they are awesome

Keep up the great work becks :smt023

I am so upset with my fitted nappies!!!!!!!!

They are just so beautiful and look so funky I just hate having to put a cover on them!!
So here is poor little me trying to see how long I can get away with not putting one on.
What a bizzare problem to have.
These gotta be the ultimate cool fitted nappy and absorbancy is just wonderful, so is the workmanship and of course they look just awesome.
They take a bit longer to dry than say a Tot Bot but similar I think to a Snazzi. That's maybe the only down side, but then I got my pocket nappy stash to use up first.
Haven't tried them overnight, but that's only cause I haven't had them all that long. I think they would be just wonderfull overnight, have had them on for quite long periods during the day. No problem!!

I love :smt049 my new rainbow fitted pocket nappy on Ariana and I am sure she does too :queen: .

I love the colours and snaps too. The tabs just reach in the middle (can overlap) which is not bad on little miss who is 15 months old and 10.6kgs in a medium.

I like how there is hemp in the nappy lining and that you can place more inside especially for long sleeps or car ride. The insert it comes with is sufficient too. Love the softness of the whole nappy.

Ariana woke up after two hours of sleep (lots of water beofre sleep) and only a little dampness to be felt with insert in.

The service from Rebecca is great as well. :smt023 You feel like you are chatting to a friend (hey I have meet you now so you are a freind now!!) to make sure you are getting exactly what you want.

I have ordered another fitted nappy & cover (actually I won the nappy thanks to Rebecca) too so there you go!
