I'm looking for 5 people to test my pattern (which will go on sale soon after it's been well tested)

This is a front opening pocket nappy with adjustable rise/ leg sizing - which does NOT use snaps to change the sizing and is different to the method Happi uses too. This nappy should fit from a Nb size right through small so baby will move straight to mediums from this nappy.

This is NOT a pattern for novice sewers, but if you have never sewn a nappy before and would like to give me feedback on the instructions and pattern that is fine.

Requirements for this pattern:

Must have an overlocker or a machine that will do-
an overlocking stitch that will hold up when sewn on lycra.
a three step zig zag (otherwise known as an elastic stitch)

Lycra
Microfleece
pul
10mm lastin
10mm braided elastic

loop fabric
hook tape
OR
Snaps and snap press

I'd like some of the testers to have a baby in nb or small nappies please :)

As this pattern will be for sale (gotta make some money to pay for groceries!!!) I'd ask that you use discretion if you test this nappy, and not share the pattern or the methods involved.

Sounds intriguing! But alas, no overlocker and no NB here to try it on. Good luck with the testing, can't wait to see the nappies :D

I'd love to try your pattern. I have everything needed bar the newborn (yet) but I do have a friend with a 3mth old who I could get to try them to give you more feedback :)

I would like to test please. I have a nb who is just growing out of nb size but finds smalls a bit big.

Happy to test here if you like.. or can get one of my sewers to try for a totally unbiased opinion. Don't have a baby in sml/nb size though but could send to Aussie for testing :)

Would love to test the pattern but can't cut any material out till after baby is born (can't get down to the floor anymore)..

Oh man I know what you mean, I'm frantically trying to get all my sewing done NOW, before I hit that stage again! I will pass on you as a tester (sorry) as I need them tested asap :)

No problem Leanne, it's as much about the pattern itself as the end nappy, so you are welcome to keep the nappy for your own wee one :) totally up to you though!

sure - there is NB in church I could get to wear it or send it to someone you nominate... would take a bit long I think for lil-bit to get here and Katriel still fits her small bib and tucker naps too :)
