small undies testers wanted.
I've just been making some very small undies. I made them to fit DD who is a small 23 month old. She's just about 80cm tall ... so they are approx a size 1 -2 years.
Would anyone like to test the pattern for me? I was going to do a free pdf and put it on my blog but would like people to test it first if poss. They are totally cotton lycra, no elastic.
I haven't done any instructions yet.

Is it suitable for a beginner sewer?
Not sure if I have cotton lycra in my fabric pile so would need that described to me too

not terribly hard. Would be good to have an overlocker though. Cotton lycra is very stretchy. Needs to be quite 'elastic' to be able to stay up without any elastic.
They are very very similar to the wee weka ones http://www.thenappynetwork.org.nz/image ... ickers.pdf
.. and the instuctions would be pretty much exactly the same ... but the pattern is heaps smaller

I could test some Claire
They'd be too big for Arlo and too small for Sophie, though I'm sure I can pass them along to a friend with a wee girl to try out

If making a pair up to test on Will for size would help, I'd be happy to help. (he doesn't need undies yet though I look forward to the day...
